At our mother and baby appt. the lactation nurse told us that Kirkland brand baby formula is actually made by Enfamil. Kirkland just buys the product from them and slaps it's label on it.
Our peditrician told us that basically all formulas were the same so we tried the Kirkland brand after using Enfamil for sometime and my son started projectile vomiting so much after drinking it that we had to stop. He's back on the enfamil now and no longer has a problem. I wished it had worked for him because there is a HUGE cost difference! Oh well! Hopefully it will work for you if you have/choose to use it! Congrats on your super cute little boy too!
We used Kirkland formula for DD between 9 and 12 months. I BF-ed before 9 months and we switched to whole milk at 12 months. She did great on the formula. I'm glad bc it saved us a lot of money.
We used Enfamil and then switched to Kirkland... I'd heard the same thing somewhere, but they aren't the same. They have different colors and textures. DS loved the Kirkland formula though and it saved us a ton of money, we'll use Kirkland with next DC!
