The Smithsonian Institute is hosting Free Museum Day.  Here's a list of participating venues in WA. 

You have to download and print an admission card and I don't know if there are any restrictions (i.e. how many you can print/use), but going to the museum sounds like fun!

    I ended up not going because of housework duties.  (Boooo, housework) I wanted to go to the Nordic Heritage Museum or the SAM.  I love the Washington State History Museum in Tacoma, too.
