What size clothes for baby.

Our LO will be here next week maybe even Monday depends on my bp and headache. But I was wondering should I maybe get a couple premie outfits of just get a few newborn ones for her first couple weeks home. At her ultrasound they weighed her in  at 6lbs 10oz and I know the ultrasound can be off. So what do you guys think Should I send Daddy out for premie or newborn because all we have right now is 0 to 3 mostly 3 we didn't think we be having her early when we started stalking up.

I'd bring NB size just in case. Chances are they'll be able to fit in the preemie just fine but you definitely know they'll fit in NB. That's what we have packed.

Yeah I would definitely get a few newborn sizes and maybe even a preemie or two.  Since you just never know.

I would get a at lease newborn size, I might even get one or two preemie. My sisters baby weighed 7ibs 4oz and she could wear preemie.

I agree with NB. DD1 was 6lbs, 10oz, and NB fit her very well. I think NB would fit your DD, but she wouldn't outgrow it immediately.

Check out Target.  My store had a bunch of NB clothes 75% off.

I had my DD at 38 weeks and she weighed in at 7lbs 2 oz. When we left the hospital, she was 6lbs 9oz. NB and 0-3 were way too big. I had to go out and get preemie outfits for her. She was in them about a week or 2. I have bought a few just to have for this one.

id get a few preemie outfits--DS was born at 37 weeks and still needed some for the first 3-4 weeks--but you dont need a ton, one pack of onesies should be good until you know more
