36 weeks and possible bloody show?

Sorry - I know there was just a bloody show question, but I didn't want to hijack her post, plus I haven't had an internal so I know I am not spotting from that. 

A couple of days ago I noticed a trace amount of red on my toilet paper and then again this morning, I noticed two tiny spots.  Is this the bloody show??  I can call my doc but honestly they always seem to jump to "no big deal, totally normal" like they did with a different question I had yesterday so it's truly pointless.

If I go into labor within the next few days, I am sure things will be ok with the baby so it's less of a medical concern than a "crap, I need to cram all of my to-do's into this weekend" concern!!!

Any experience with this tiny spotting and labor coming soon after?

I don't have an answer for you, but I would like to take this opportunity to express my hatred towards your body.  How did you make it to 36 weeks and not grow a bum?  My bum is the size of your belly right now.

I think you should call. Spotting would scare me.

My bloody show didn't happen until I lost my MP and was 4cm 100% effaced and checking into L&D. It was a LOT of bloody discharge, not just a little.

You should call just to make sure, but I am betting it isn't your show. They may want to see you to check your cervix and see if you are progressing.

Hahaha!  I think it's a flattering angle actually but thanks.    My large face and back fat make up for any lack of butt.

To the second poster, you are right - I should call the doc.  I know they will just say that it's no big deal, normal, etc but on the off chance that it is, better safe than sorry.

I would call anyways. That way if they say it's nothing and it turns out to be something you will be able to say so.

Thanks ladies - I did actually just call the doc.  She says it is probably not the show and I need to take it easy and increase fluids.  My next appointment is on Monday so maybe they will check me then.  Hopefully I don't have the baby before then!
