My photography business is taking off way faster than I anticipated.

I have 9 shoots scheduled in the next 6 weeks and that's not counting the two I had this week.  Plus, I have two pending appointments.  I've been doing invitations in-between, too.

I'm absolutely loving it, but holy crap I'm busy!

Mostly word of mouth.  I've done some very minimal advertising.  At this point, I'm almost scared to promote too much because I really can't take on any more sessions per week than I have now.

I was just looking at your photog site and do you really get a cd with all the pics you shot for the sitting fee price?  Is so..thats a steal! No wonder why you are so booked. in MI I am paying $75 just for the sitting fee and each pic you want on a cd to print on your own is $30 or the whole cd is like $300 IF purchased with a $200+ package

Sahara -- No, I didn't go to school for it.  I've just read and practiced a LOT since I got my first DSLR about two years ago.  I originally just wanted to have a nice camera to take photos of my son, but I discovered I loved it and became obsessed.  I'm still learning a lot.

Mich -- Yes, I do.  I'll be raising my prices January 1st.  I started low to break into the market, but I plan to remain pretty affordable.  Obviously I have to make it worth my time, but I want to stay reasonable.

Ok then, I feel like a big lazy a$$! I got my DSLR that long ago too and I still don't know how to use it well...not to mention editing. I tried photoshop and OMG...CONFUSING!

I do holiday cards, so you can keep me in mind for that if you want.
