So I met w/my OB today to discuss our initial test results.  She said everything looks normal for both of us and that we would probably get pregnant on our own if we kept trying (we got pregnant after trying for a year in April, but miscarried in May).  However, given that I am almost 35, she felt that it was time to refer me to an RE.  So I can schedule an appointment w/Shady Grove Fertility.

AF is due Sunday - so I plan to wait until Monday to see if this cycle was a success before calling for an appointment.  But I am glad we have a plan in place.

    I go to Shady Grove in Towson and I really like my RE and the nurses.  This is my second RE and this team is sooooo much better!

    My friend got pg after her 3rd IVF with the same RE I am seeing.  She said everyone she knows who sees him has gotten pg!

    Sorry that you've dealt with a m/c, but glad to hear your OB referred you to an RE.  They will certainly help.  You could always schedule an appt. and then cancel it if you find out otherwise it's not needed.  I know it's just a couple of days, but often the REs schedules get really full.

    Hopefully you won't need the RE....but at leaset you have a solid plan!

    I go to SG in Annandale and I like them.  They're very organized there and you get in and out pretty quickly with appointments which I appreciate.  Good luck with everything and feel free to ping me with any questions.
