Worried about not getting to c-section date?

I had a super fast labor with my DD, so I'm worried that I won't make it to my c-section date.. which yea, hasn't evne been scheduled.  I am hoping they will fit me in on Oct 2nd, which is exactly 39 weeks and basically the earliest they will do it.  (I had a horrible 4th degree tear from my first baby that still bothers me, which is why I'm doing the c-section).

Anyway I have been having lots of cramps at night, and even though I went late with baby #1, I'm just so worried the baby will come earlier then my c-section date!

I have the what if thoughts. I didn't have the traumatic tear you did last time. I ended up with a section but what if I go into labor before my date? I just have to hope I don't.

My c-sect is scheduled for Oct 2nd.  I've been thinking I'd go early the whole pg due to lots of contrax but here I am a week away and still pg!
