recommend favorite book on infant development

I'd like to be better informed on what's going on with LO's cognitive, motor, etc. development. Does anyone have book recommendations? TIA!

I like the format of What to Expect the 1st Year.  I haven't read any others so I have nothing to compare it to.

This is what I have been reading as well.  I also like Baby 411, but it's divided more along the lines of specific topics: feeding, sleeping, common illnesses, etc.
