From EST, it'd be rough. We are PST and the boys woke up at 4:30am everyday for the first 3 days and then may transitioned to 5:30 or 6 (latest!) for the rest of the 8 days we were there. We've been home now for 1.5 wks and they are still sleeping late here (8-9am instead of their usual 6:30-7am). It wasn't too much of a problem keeping them up later before bed when we went to Hawaii but getting them to go to sleep at a reasonable hour once we got home has been tough (since Hawaii was 3 hrs behind).
A six hour time difference would be tough, but just be prepared for early mornings and walks along the beach at sunrise. Not too bad
