Apple Cider Donuts..

Yummy I mentioned them to a coworker the other day who lives next to an orchard and she brought some in today...so good and they have gotten me into the fall mood...what other things make you think fall??

Yum!  I saw a recipe for apple cider donuts in the Food Network magazine this month.  They looked awesome!

Mmmmmm......I love these.  Luckily I live in upstate NY so they are readily available at local orchards.  But I have to resist the urge to stop and get them b/c I could easily eat 1/2 dozen by myself.  Yummy!

This post definitely makes me miss my home state of NJ! 

I havent found anything remotely close to Apple Day (which included apple and pumpkin picking, hayrides, corn mazes, DONUTS and yummy apple cider!) in Colorado...

HA! Yesterday I totally went 45 minutes out of my way to get some hot apple cider donuts from my favorite orchard. SOOOO YUMMY! It put me in a great fall mood. Now I just can't wait for the leaves to change.

There is an Apple Cider Donut recipe in this months Food Network Magazine. I'm dying to try it, but haven't had the time yet. I am determined to make them before the season is through.

Things that make me think of fall- the smell of dead leaves, the colors, my anniversary, the crisp air, football, etc. There's just so much! Food-wise, that would be ANYTHING pumpkin.
