I was just thinking about whether or not babies cry/scream in the womb.  And if so, would it be like when you duck under at the pool and talk or scream (my sister and I used to do that and guess what the other one said).  Yeah, we were dorks...

I'm kinda thinking that the sound is more associated with air breaking through/into the liquid, but I really don't know the science of it.  Hmm, I've got myself a little research project.

During my 3D ultrasound my LO made a face like he was crying when the tech woke him up by pushing on my stomach.  But I don't think they can make sound because there's no air in their lungs.  I could be wrong though.
