Just a quick question for you.

Why are they inducing you tomorrow?  Just because you will be past your EDD?  My Dr was talking like he would do the same if I was dilated so I was just wondering.

I got asked this yesterday too..... here's my answer:

Not everyone would agree, but it is just sort of what we came up with. He told me he'd induce by next Wednesday no matter what. Everything looks good, he said I'm a good candidate for induction and if I wanted to plan for having the baby this weekend we could (this was at my appt at 38 weeks, 4 days). It was totally our decision and DH and I talked to a few of my girlfriends who had really positive induction experiences and we decided to plan it for Friday.

ETA: I was only 1cm and 70% effaced still as of Monday afternoon. What I am this will determine if I go in tonight for cervical ripening or just go in Friday morning for induction.

I personally am pro-induction and will definitely make the same decision as you if he gives me the option at my appt next week.
