Poor Gerber gets an undeserved bad rap

I keep reading posts about how much Gerber onesies suck. It makes me sad. They do run small - once you know it you can easily plan ahead and get the right size (1 or 2 sizes up). I like the classic colors and patterns (have you seen some of the Carter's stuff lately? Good grief), the weight of the cotton is perfect, and they wear well (they hold their shape, the snaps are still smooth). We got some gently used and some new I reach for those by far more frequently than anything else. I like the footie sleepers too.

oh man gerber stuff is pure garbage for babies.

Carters lasts much longer and is much more durable, but I honestly prefer the stuff from H&M over all those brands.

Yeah I hate to say it but most of our Gerber stuff wore for crap. Out Carter (and other brands) still look practically new and the few Gerber things we have other than the plain onesies are all pilly and junky.

We've never had any issues with Gerber onesies. I've never had to throw away any because they've worn out, only because they were stained, and I've done that with other brands as well. I do like that Carters onesies feel softer, though.
