DS pulls up standing on his ankles. Is that normal?

He has just started pulling up holding my fingers. Most of the time he pulls up standing on the sides of his ankles, then eventually turns to stand on the bottom of his feet. It looks like it would hurt, but I know their bones are still flexible. Do other babies do that?

Lillian did when she first started standing.  She rarely does it anymore.  I think its normal.

My son did this for a few months when he first started walking.

DD did that when she started pulling up on our fingers, etc. I always was thinking I hope that don't hurt her.
