Frenulectomy - check!
We had J's frenulectomy this morning (had to be there at 7am) & we're already back home - yay! He did really good & was happy after he was finally able to get some food in his belly since he hadn't eaten since dinner last night. He's upstairs hopefully settling down for a nap because he's been up for quite a while & is tired.
The ENT said his tongue was very tight & he was glad we went ahead with the procedure. He felt sure he would have had some speech issues, and I certainly wouldn't want that.
Glad everything went well & we're now at home resting on this gloomy day!

did they say if it would cause any pain for him/give him anything other than motrin for the pain?
They gave him some Motrin there & said to keep it up today & probably tomorrow. He's already eaten applesauce, graham crackers, raisins, & yogurt, some I'm thinking it must not be hurting him too bad.
