My ss's mom is at it again!

I swear, I could not feel more sorry for two children than I do ss and his little bother.  DH's ex has broken up with yet another guy, and of course already had a new guy before the break up.  Not surprising, we suspected it for a while, but I don't think she has any idea what the revolving door of men does to those poor kids. SS has had 5 homes since we were married, and we haven't hit our 6 year anniversary yet.

I feel sorry for the bf too.  he was a good guy, and has been paying all her bills while she went to school.

Normally it's every other weekend and one night.  BUt usually when she gets a new bf we get him every weekend for a while.  His little brother does not see his father at all, so he spends all his time with his grandparents.  It's just so crappy for the kids.

SS is almost 13, and starting to get tired of it himself.  They fight alot lately.

Do you think you would ever try for him to spend more time with you instead of just a few weekends? It sounds like he could use the stability. Poor kid.

Given the circumstances of his paternity, we are just waiting for him to ask us if he can live at our house.  Since dh is not his bio-dad, he hates to push his luck.

But he left Sunday night and already called and asked if we could pick him up Friday.  And since we have no idea where she will go when she moves out of this bf's house, it's looking like now may be our opportunity.
