Old Navy/Gap Returns?

Good morning and Happy Wednesday!

I purchased quite a bit of items form Old Navy and Gap last week knowing that I'd have to return a few and sure enough, I do!  I wanted to see if anyone on the boards has had to do an online return with them and whether or not the process went smoothly?  And how long did it take?

The return part was fairly easy but it takes FOREVER for them to credit back your account. I returned something a week or two ago and they emailed me saying the credit will appear in the next 1-2 billing statements of our credit card. That's like 30-60 days!

That's why i am hesitant to buy clothes online. Can you return to the store?

I bought a bunch of things from Old Navy online and had to return some. ?I did not do an exchange, but I received an email from them confirming the credit back on my card in about a week. ?It is a bummer that we can't return in the store and have to pay the shipping to send back, but it was very easy. ?Good luck!

 You can't with Old Navy maternity, they require you to send it back thru the mail...URGH!  What a hassle!

I haven't had any problems with them before. However, if you have an Old Navy close to you it's really easy to return to the stores.  I usually return my online orders there.

Did they let you return maternity to the store?  My receipt says that the amternity has to be returned via mail

I returned some things to old navy - they give you the option to print off a return label on-line and deduct $6 shipping from your credit.  Instead, i shipped my items from my post office for like $3 to save a few bucks.  My card was credited a week later.

I just returned something to the Gap.  I printed the UPS shipping label from their website and it was easy.  I haven't seen the credit post yet, but am hopeful it will be soon.

With Gap and Old Navy maternity, you have to return things by mail.  A bummer, but I am so in love with the jeans I got, it's worth it!

Maternity is one of those things they refuse to return in the store. It says on your receipt how they will accept the return, don't take it in if it says "mail only" because it only makes the employees angry (can you tell I work for Banana Republic? haha) I'm not being mean! I just get it a lot, and then people get angry with me because of it. Its not my fault!

 

But yeah, they should have included everything you'd need to return it by mail. And it'll take a little bit of time before you see your account credited. I mailed back a dress a week ago and my account was credited today. So it took about 8 days.
