Question for you girls.. i am just over 4 weeks and yesterday my level was 844 and should have only been 400 anyone else like this? normal or does it mean multiples? tia!!!
My HCg level was at 104 at 12 DPO. But as I have read on here before, it doesn't matter what the number is, is only matters if the number is doubling. I am not sure you can tell unless you have an us. Good luck ladies!
Mine were 4400 at exactly 5 weeks, and we're just having one baby. Hcg numbers aren't particularly telling. Sometimes high numbers could mean twins or molar pregnancy or something else, but most people just end up having a singleton
The hcg levels should not be used to date the pregnancy or determine how many are in there.
this.
i personally don't put any stock in these numbers. all they are good for is getting a BFP when you POAS. past that, all they do is create useless worry and concern.

Everyone's levels are different, the HCG is secreted differently between women and even in same women but different pregnancies. One number only tells you that you are indeed pregnant, what matters is if it doubles normally within 48-72 hours...and even that won't tell you if its multiples or not (for sure).
I've seen twins that result from a beta in the 100s at just over four weeks. It's just not reliable to go off betas to determine how many are in there, you'll need an u/s.
I'm expecting twins and my betas are in my siggy. Everyone is different though, and betas are generally not an indication of multiples. Only an u/s will tell you for sure. GL.
Re: HCG levels.. could be twins??

There is a huge range of 'normal' for hcg levels.
At 4 weeks 2 days mine were just over 1600... I am not having twins.
