Super pissed at DH (long)

So I ride a scooter to work and yesterday on my way home it broke down. I have to push the scooter, which is pretty damn heavy, through 6 lanes of traffic and down the street until I get to a side street because I am not strong enough to lift the bike up and over the curb. All of this is done while wearing heels, lol. Anyhow, I call DH to come rescue me and as he is pulling over he screams out the window "Why the f*ck didn't you pull it into a parking lot?!". Okay well first of all I was exhausted and stopped as soon as I was not going to get run over and secondly I didn't think about it.

I am now pissed that he was being such a jerk. So fast forward to when we went back a couple of hours later to get the bike. We had left it in an oil change place's parking lot. So DH gets on the bike to drive it to school (we got it working) and says to me "Will you get the oil changed in the car since you're here?" I was a little irritated because I have a 4 1/2 month old to take care of, but I am going to sit here and wait for the oil change? The place was SUPER busy so I would have had a wait. But I say okay because I can tell he was annoyed, I then say "where's the door?" because we are at the back of the building and the only way in from there is through the bays which I don't want to take DS through. He says "Are you blind, do you not see the f*cking building in front of you?". I get in the car and leave without an oil change and without talking to DH.

I have not spoken to him since. He got home from class last night at 8:30 and I put DS and myself to bed at 8:00. I figured he would come in and apologize, but no. I am upset that he doesn't see that he was wrong. He doesn't usually talk to me this way. I don't know what his problem was, I know he was stressed out, but stressed out does not equal being a jerk. Am I missing something here? Props to you if you just read all of this. Smile

  • I'm sorry he was such a jerk.  That sucks.

  • Sorry that you are upset with your DH, but can I just say that if I saw someone on a scooter in heels I would think you were the coolest girl EVER.

But, you never see that 'round these parts.

  • Hmm sounds like maybe he is stressed about something he's not telling you? Definitely not ok for your DH to treat you like that, but I'd want to know what is going on!

  • I'm sorry he was such a jerk. He has absolutely no excuse to speak to you that way. So you didn't pull it into a parking lot: at least you had the common sense to get out of the road! Sh!t happens and you just have to deal with the inconveniences. *e-hug*
  • Wow, what crawled up his arse and exploded?

Hope ya'll get things worked out soon. Nothing like being a little sympathetic, eh?

  • Sounds like he was worried about you and disn't know how to express himself.

My DH won't let me ride my street bike anymore.Says I have to much to loose..I miss my street bike!
