Wondering about mirena?

I just got mirena and wanted to see what your takes were on it? I read in one article about it not being good to have when nursing? My midwife didnt say anything about it but the paflette i filled out b4 i got it did ask if I was nursing? Anyways if anyone has used it or has 411 I would appreciate it! Thanks!

I've had it since 7 weeks PP and nurse.  No problems and Dr. knows I nurse.

I have it and nurse, no problems. The only side effect I've had is that I spotted for 7 weeks straight. Not fun, but I think it's over now.

Ive had it for amonth now. Im still spotting but its starting to go away.

Nursing should be ok the way my Dr explained it to me was that the hormones dont travel through your whole body like other bc. They stay in your uterus because it is such a small amount

I have it, but I don't nurse...

but as far as imtimacy...it doesn't bother my FI at all. I bled heavy for 2 weeks and now I've been spotting for 2 weeks, and we started having sex as soon as the flow slowed down.
