Another Bottle Question..

I registered for the Playtex Nurser Designer Start bottles and the Playtex VentAire Bottles. I am sorry if this is a stupid question but do I have to have the drop in plastics with these or can I just have my breast milk or formula right in there? Is it safe to do that? I am a first time mom and have no idea!!!

I know the ventaire bottles are no drop in. I think the other ones are drop ins. You might want to try to stay with one type of bottle, because the the nipples on the two are really different. : )

Just a heads up I have several people that said the Vent Aire bottles leak very badly.  I had them on my registery and everyone said to take them off.  Some of them even called the company and didn't get any help.

We used the Vent Aire bottles with DD1 and didn't use drop ins.  Also, the only time we had a problem with leaking was when the nipples were worn and needed to be replaced.  Otherwise, we were happy with them.  the only downside, really, was having so many pieces to clean.
