Super easy! Mmm. Im trying the mushroom one tuesday. We usually go grocery shopping monday nights. Pat saw all the ingreidants ont he shopping list and got very excited. Hes just happy not to cook, since he does 95% of the cooking/baking around here.

No Grey's, I spent most of the day with a sick Roo. He woke up mid night with a fever that lingered all day. No fun. I think it is from his 5 teeth he is getting, considering all the drool that he is producing. But I did manage to work on Christmas presents and start a food blog (which I am working on now).
How was your day?

A sick roo sounds awful, Im sorry. but it does sound like teething. How old is he?
Its a smidge early for christmas, but kudos to you for getting an early start! Was it a gift for me?

Here you go Leah, I make it in the slow cooker, but you could adapt it to the oven too.
2 chicken breasts ( I washed and pounded them) ** The original recipe called for coating them with egg and bread crumbs and browning them in a little butter to make a crust on them, but after cooking them in the sauce all day, it just gets soggy, so if you leave it out you'll be reducing those calories. Speghetti sauce of your choice to cover the meat.Cover the meat with the sauce, cook on low for 6-8 hours, or high for 3-4. (or until chicken is cooked), Place a few slices of mozzarella over the chicken, replace lid and cook for an additional 15 minutes or until melted. I served it over noodles.

Roo is 18 months, his eye teeth are by far the worst that he has got, it doesn't help he is getting 3 at once with 2 molars.
I know it's early, and you can totally have a set of rage quilt alphabet letters, then yes, yes I did! I am also making huge kitchen baskets with cute polka dot aprons.

Teething is no fun though, I dont usually deal with that at work. Though I had a pt tell me she gives her six month old an ice cube. I about died. You cant do that, right?

Ha I meant Rag quilt letters. The are little 5" tall quilted alphabet letters, all our close friends kids and my niece are getting them.
Um, no. I wouldn't anyways. I've froze wet wash clothes and gave those to him, when he was smaller. You could put an ice cube in a mesh feeder, but I wouldn't give it to them not in one.
I was pretty sure ice cubes were frowned upon. Of course, the dentist (who is 100 years old, and has no children) suggested whisky.
Ugh- my MIL is asking me what to get Pat for his birthday. This is always awkward. He always wants expensive things. And I could send her a list of 50 things all in different price ranges, and she'll get him something cheap not on that list. So Ive decided to instead send that list to my mom- who will likely go overboard and buy everything. And tell MIL he wants gift cards to barnes and nobles.... so I can by pregnancy/baby books
Is that bad? lol

Oh my. Now I hate your MIL. What a terriable thing to say. We arent telling my family until we have the u/s. Last time noone kept the secret. I got alot of "well, you didnt say I couldn't tell your long lost auntie jackie, did you?"..... "no mom, I told you not to tell ANYONE, not jackie, you're right, thats my bad" And "Well, nothing could possiably go wrong, you're so young and healthy, and I nver had any problems, so why cant I tell everyone Ive ever met/" And "Oh, I thought you just meant we couldnt tell people you knew" Wtf does that even mean? Atleast with MIL she pretened/lied that she didnt tell anyone.
Bottom line is- my family is not to be trusted.... and either is MIL. So we will tell them not to tell again, and just like last time I will turn off FB for a bit-because my entire family is on there. *sigh* Just remembering all of this is making me not want to tell them ever. Just show up with a baby one day.
Are you in for a busy week at work again? Or will you be able to bump at work this week?

I hope that I am busy this week. I am going to be getting my new inventory software going (hopefully), I read the manual last week You never know though, we have a doctor on vacation so it may be a little slow.
how many vets work there? This past week our doc was on vacation, but we had a sub. who is 100 years old. I always say the doc I actually work for is 100, he's really 62. This guy is 78
and a lot slower paced. So it was boring.
I love love love your food blog, mmm, it all looked so delish. What did you use to make the background? I am harving the hardest time with mine, it never wants to accept a different cool background [;(] I may have broken it.

We have 5 and a 6th is joining us soon. We see close to 125 schedules appointments a day, not including surgeries and vaccines We are busy.

You need to go to add gadget. Add HTML/Java acript and post your code in the box that pops up (you don't have to title it). Then press save. That should work, you should be able to preview it also.
Where I live is about 35,000 people or so. But we have 16000 families that see us, multiple pets. It's crazy how many people come to us, considering there are 18 vet hospitals in our county.

Thanks...shopping for an outfit was the most stressful part of all...I bought three dresses before deciding on that one, haha. I debated all week. It worked out for the best because someone else wore my #2 choice...that would have been embarrasing
It was so, so fun...once everything got going and I stopped freaking out about making sure everything was taken care of. My headache is gone....now I am just super tired and I have two nasty wounds on my feet from the brand new heels I didn't bother to break in beforehand.
Did looking at my pics make you realize just how much OLDER I am than you?? I am almost in the target audience for the AARP...
Did I ever tell you I am allergic to alcohol and break out in red splotchiness and get a stuffy nose when I have even one drink? Well last night I took a Pepcid AC first (my 21 year old sister's recommendation) and it totally helped...not sure why but it works.
Super busy but great! I had my 10 year HS reunion last night that I helped plan. Hey, are you on FB?

You've never told me that, but I have a fer asian friends with the same problem who swear by pepcid AC. And for whatever reason I have some in the back of my car, so when you come visit we can drink.
Pat was looking over my shoulder and said "wow- tahts her reunion? You relize ours is going to be in the school gym with create paper, right?" I told him if we're lucky maybe there will be a hay ride! Exciting. Btw- what was up with your bartender? She looked afraid for her life.
I was going to tell you that you looked amazing in your dress... for an 82 year old, but didnt want you to miss the part where I said amazing. So I will insert old joke here. You're so old, you throw a party and your neighbors dont even realize. Thank you, google.

I really could not believe it. I had like 4 drinks with no problemo. I have this scar near my collarbone (freak accident where I was burned about 4 years ago) and it gets bright red when I drink. We call it the Drunk-O-Meter. And it didn't even make an appearance last night! Success! So yes, please save a least a couple Pepcids for me as I would enjoy drinking it up with you and Patty.
Well trust me, the venue we had the reunion in was beautiful, but a lot of the city where I live is not. There was probably homeless people peeing on the side of the hotel we were at. Oh, that poor bartender lady. She was no match for our group....by the end of the night she was sweating bullets trying to keep up with all the drunkards.
And yes, I like to think that I have exceptional tits for someone in their 80s, thankyouverymuch.

We had a candy bar at ours. Because I am a fatty fat fat who loves candy and any excuse to utilize tiny pink chinese take out boxes and little silver scoops.
Really- you must finish reading my posts, if you are going to nose into them. I was telling Leah how I really wanted a candy bar but pat told me no.... because I would have eaten all of it.
