Child Care vent follow-up

Just following up on my vent from Friday re: child care and not being able to find anyone with any openings...

I am starting to get some hope! I found a searchable list using the New York State Child Services website and found a woman literally around the corner from me. I called about 30 people from that list, with denials from almost everyone. This woman around the corner just called me and said she has openings and I am going to go to her house on Tuesday to meet her, interview her and watch her interaction with her kids. I am SO excited. I don't know how much she charges yet, but I will be including that in the interview questions, of course.

I feel like a little bit of the weight is lifted off my chest right now. My motto in this: whatever will be will be - and I WILL find someone for the baby, I will!!!!
