Can apple juice upset your stomach?

I was at the grocery store and thirsty so I grabbed a bottle of Minute Maid apple juice.  Well as soon as I got home I had to run straight to the bathroom.  It tore my stomach UP!  The only other thing I've had today that could possibly have caused this is some grapes - but I had grapes the other day and was fine.  

Lesson learned - no more apple juice!

    It's amazing since becoming pg the things that can upset my stomach...esp in the first tri!

    I googled and found where it does happen to people - apparently AJ can cause diarrhea.  I have been constipated so it probably angered my system, lol.

    I think it can...lots of fiber!  Plus pregnancy digestion weirdness, I could see it messing up people's systems.

    It has a fairly low pH, too.  It's nearly as acidic as OJ.

    They tell you to give apple juice to your baby if it gets constipated. I never noticed a problem with this before for myself. I love apples and apple juice. But since I have been pregnant it gives me the worst gas pains ever and I have had to stop drinking/eating apple things. It makes me sad.

    Well that makes sense.  I also cannot handle anything orange - OJ makes me want to hurl.  I can't even do orange flavored things.
