Baby shower etiquette question

I'm going to a shower in a few hours and have to address the card. This is my first married (even though I've been for over a year) and I don't know if since it's ladies only I only put my name or I put DH's name as well since it's our money. Does any one know the "correct" way?

I always just put my name on the card since I'm the one attending the shower.

If it's a family member from Nate's side, I put both names.

If it's a couples shower, I put both my name & Nate's.

I don't know if there is a right or wrong, but at my shower, many women put their husband's name in the card. Especially women whose husbands knew me well. It didn't bother me either way. For most people, this is the only baby gift they would be getting me so many signed both names. Also, many wrote the card to me and my husband. I think you could do either.

I agree with P&E...if you both are close to the mother-to-be, I would put both names.  If he barely knows her, then I would just sign your name.  Either way, that card is going to be looked at for no more than 10 seconds, so she'll probably not even notice either way...

I don't think it will be a big deal to the giftee but I always put down both names because it seems to me that it is really from both of us even when I have to do serve the prison - I mean shower - time alone.

No big deal either way. My shower was yesterday and I got cards that said both and I got cards from just the women. It's just what you feel comfortable doing I guess.
