Felt board for a 2 yo?

I'm thinking of getting a Very Hungry Caterpillar set for DD. Do kids this age use felt boards? TIA!

yes! DD LOVES it! and I print pieces from I think ABC teach for brown bear brown bear and other favorites and laminate and put sticky back velcro on it and dd loves putting them on the felt board as I read.  I made my own board

They have some for the toddler class at our church, and P loves them!
