Preemies

noisy sleeper?

So, Emma is a super noisy sleeper!  She makes all of these little moans and grunts.  She makes the same noises when she is awake, but I never realized that she did it while sleeping too.  Anyone else have a noisy sleeper?

Re: noisy sleeper?

  • DS was a noisy sleeper as a baby.  Even now he talks in his sleep.

  • When we first brought Marino home, he was so loud I couldn't sleep at all. I remember sobbing to my mom b/c I thought I would never sleep again! He out grew it (and I learned to sleep through it).

  • we tried sleeping with ryan in the same room the first night he was home, but he was so loud, one of our dogs would whine until we got up to check on him every time he made a noise. the next night ryan slept in his own room. Smile  he outgrew it pretty quickly!

  • Yup! Super grunty! He outgrew it though, which makes me wish I'd done a better job of catching it on video! I miss it now, sometimes...
  • oh yes! It sounded like a herd of 10,000 billy goats!

I think it's a pretty normal (and painfully adorable) preemie thing. My guys outgrew it by the time they were about 3 months adjusted... but then Drake purred with every exhale like a kitten. Now all we hear is thumb sucking, and I miss the billy goat and kitten noises :)

  • HA:) Both of my girls do this and it cracks me up. They grunt and moan all the time.
