I still had about 10 lbs left to lose after having DD (I only gained 25 too... I hate PCOS) and am wondering if the weight came off any easier the second time?
For the weight came off at about the same rate - I nursed #1 for 6 months and lost the last 10 pounds after I stopped. With #2, I didn't nurse and it took me about 6 months to get back to my pre-pregnanacy weight. Granted, I have lost the weight but my body shape is totally different than it was before the second pregnancy. After #1, I looked pretty much the same as I had before but with #2, the boobs sag way more and the little baby belly part is still there.
It took longer for me but... I also nursed longer.
I can't really drop the last 5-10 lbs while nursing or my supply tanks.
But... it came off VERY slowly post-weaning #2. I had to work out to get rid of the last of the belly roll and thighs and I didn't have to with the first one.
Go figure I'd just gotten to a weight/size I was happy with when we had a shocker BFP that didn't stick around so now I'm back to struggling with trying to get it back off again.
Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
My son is 3 weeks old and I have 6 pounds left to lose of baby weight (I gained around 35). I think I have actually dropped the weight more quickly than with my daughter - at least so far. Non-baby weight there is a whole lot more to lose....
I am still newly pp, but am having issues getting the weight off!! I FF, so that doesnt factor into things. I had 10 pounds left to lose when I got pregnant too...and now I have about 25 pounds to lose to get back to pp weight. I have started the south beach diet and just started back at the gym...I will let you know how it goes!!
I was back to my pp weight after #1 (had put on 35lbs) after 6 weeks.
I am still 10ish pounds over my pp weight from #2. It has been much harder for me. Usual reasons: skipping breakfast, eating poorly, lack of proper rest and strenuous activity.
My body is much different than after #1. Softer. Saggier. I think I need to do about 350 crunches a day to get my waist back.
promised myself I'd retire when I turned gold, and yet here I am
I agree with most of the PP's...it came off faster the 2nd time. I gained about 50 pounds both times. I lost 30 or so instantly after giving birth both times, I lost 10 more by about 5-6 months, and have about 10 more to go (which I hope will go when I wean DD at a year). Last time I was already PG again and lost the last 10 when I weaned. I was at PP weight for about a week before I started gaining again with #2...so far, not PG again and I don't plan on it before DD turns 1!

I have just now lost all my baby weight. I didn't have enough time in between pregnancy to get down to my pre pregnancy weight and am just now there and DS#1 will be three in November.

Eh, about the same for me....
After having DS I still was up 15-20 lb's from my normal weight when I got my BFP for DD.
I was back to this weight 2 weeks after having DD so I started WW and doing 30DS everyday. I've only lost 3 lb's so far =/
I'm not huge (size 8) but I want to fit back into my old clothes and it's not happening. I told DH, maybe I'm at my NEW weight. Ughghg.
DD#1 - I gained 24lbs and lost it all by 2 weeks PP
DD#2 - I gained 24lbs also and lost it by 2 weeks PP
DS - I gained 18lbs and lost it by 2 weeks PP
