Potentially stupid ? re: cervical mucus during IVF cycle (PIP of DD)

This may be so stupid but I have a lot of EWCM today. I am on day 7 of stims and ER is next week sometime. I went in yesterday for my monitoring and I am to start Ganirelix tonight and go in tomorrow for more monitoring.

Is it possible to ovulate before ER? Should I be concerned and call my RE?

Again, I apologize in advance if this is really stupid.

    You will have TONS of EWCM during IVF.  EWCM indicates that your estrogen is rising - which it is doing during IVF.  You shouldn't ovulate early.

    On my IVF info sheet it actually says "You will have large quantities of EWCM.  This is normal, please do not call concerned."

    This.  It's totally normal.  Threw me off at first too.

    I had this too and it had been otherwise non-existent for a very loooooooooog time.  It was very odd mentally as it made me think oh my goodness I'm going to go jump dh!  Oh, wait, that won't matter, they are taking all my eggs...so odd.

    OMG...hahahaha sorry. I am not a 'regular' poster because I do not want to offend anyone with a picture of my daughter so I feel it is necessary to warn everyone evertime I post. Didn't mean to scare you, lol. Gross. Embarrassed

    Not stupid at all... I asked my nurse the same question-she said its perfectly normal to have more cervical mucus than baseline because of all the meds/hormones.

    Like others have said it is not a stupid question.  I actually called my nurse freaking out when I had it with my first IVF.

    Your DD is adorable!
