Apparently Holy Cross doesn't do footprints anymore . . . I really wanted them for our baby book. Did anyone else deal with this? Can I get them somewhere else or is this totally a thing of the past?

Re: anyone else not get footprints at the hospital?
We didn't get any at Shady Grove.
Daycare has done them twice for cards on Father's Day and Grandparent's Day...with a tiny baby I bet it would be pretty easy.
I wonder if Micheals sells a kit...or if you can use an orgamic natural stamp ink and do it?
I have no clue what they use at Daycare
There are tons of kits that have baby-safe ink or allow you to imprint them in plaster/clay. Since I'm sure you don't have a lot of time to be surfing for them, here's a couple websites:

wow, i had no idea some hopsitals don't do them anymore. we still do:)
if you decide to do your own, a good way to keep the baby's toes from curling is to tickle/rub the top of the foot right below the toes...it usually makes them spread their toes out. move fast though!
