What kind of fruit do you like in your fruit salad?

I am going to make a big one for DS's party.  We usually use pineapple, strawberries and blueberries.  What do you like in your's?

I hate melon mixed in unless it is all strictly melon.  Gives everything a funky taste.

I love halved grapes in a fruit salad.  Yours sounds good.  I agree with PP that melon gives everything a kind of weird taste unless it's an all-melon salad.

The one my mom makes is mandarin oranges, bananas, peaches, pears, cherries (sometimes) and marshmallows.  Sometimes she'll add sour cream to make it creamy, it's delicious!
