Hahaha I just watched that episode!  Loved the combination with her last name Queenz.  That's one to keep that one in mind for the future. ;-)

My DD wants to name the baby 'Sparkles America'...but why anyone would really do that- or subject thier child to T & T is beyond me.

What really cracked me up was the mother (named Harmonee) said she looked at the baby and let her decide...apparently it was between Sparkal and Brooklyn but when she saw her bat her little baby eyelashes she knew she was to be named Sparkal!  It's like it was destiny!  I can't believe some people.

I can't figure out which is worse, naming your kid Sparkal, or pimping her out in beauty contests. 

I love how the parents say these events improve their kids personality...they bring them out of their shell per se...yet I see a lot of horrible behavior coming from the whole family.  And what about the excuse, "she's making money to put towards her college education"  But let me ask you this, how much money do they throw away on outfits, entrance fees, hair, make-up, tanning, voice and/or dance coaching, travel and hotel accommodations? It's sad to watch these loser parents living through their children.  I don't mean to be rude, but a lot of the girls up there are average looking, but you paint them up with tons of make-up, fake teeth, hair and eyelashes and of course they're going to look like beauty queens.  The end of the show is great, they're all a bunch of wolves drooling over the trophy table, there is no such thing as doing your best, it's only if you get a Grand Elite Super Duper Mega Supreme title, a trophy that weighs more than the child and of course....the money.  Sad.

This is exactly how I feel about it. Such a waste of money. They spend thousands on the dress alone-not to mention the expense for spray tanning, hair and makeup, pageant coaches, fake teeth, etc. I still watch the show though, just for a laugh.

While I agree that the name Sparkal should be banned from all future naming possibilities... at least her parents seemed semi normal. In comparison to the whack job of the raging ADHD child. Holy meds Batman!  I love that she actually admitted to bribing her daughter into competing. Seriously? Are you that desperate to live out your unfulfilled fantasy of being a "beauty queen?"

Yet, like a pp... I can't help but watch.
