Any babies who have needed helmets? Few questions...

If you have a child who needed to have a cranial remolding orthosis (aka helmet) did your insurance cover this and if yes, what insurance did you have? How long did your child need to wear the helmet? TIA?

Hi Jenm - I've read up a little on helmets (more and more common!) and from what I've seen the helmets are covered under insurance.  I read from one person that the first helmet was not covered but the others (every 2 months or so) were covered.  The hours per day and length of time vary quite a bit.  Best of luck to you and your family
