Sorry I haven't been around much....

I really want to be here for all you ladies and offer support and advice. It's been hard lately. I've been emotionally drained. My dad was admitted to a hospice today for his cancer.

He was officially d/x with stage 4 lung cancer (spread to his bones & liver) on August 19th. So it's been quite a shock to us that it went downhill so quickly. 

His liver seems to be failing faster than they thought it would. I've been carrying around a very heavy heart for my whole family - mom and 3 siblings. My dad's only 54 (supposed to be 55 on Nov. 14th). 

So, I just wanted to let you all know that's why I haven't been able to lend a "shoulder of support" lately.

oh sweetie.. I think you've got more than enough on your plate than being a sounding board for us. Please just let US know anything we can do for YOU. (God, I hate even saying that because what does it even mean? But I do wish I could do something.)

i'm so sorry. my grandma went through something similar and it's a very tough road. i'll continue to keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

again - i'm nearby if you need anything (meals, someone to watch the LOs, someone to pick something up from the store, anything at all).

Why are you apologizing for not being on here? ((HUGS)) I am so sorry to hear about your situation. I know it's not easy...really how could it ever be easy? Well post here if you need some support or just need to "talk". I'll be praying for you and your family.

I am so sorry! My grandfather died of cancer last November after being in the hospice so my heart is aching for you. If you want to talk you can PM me, if not I understand as well.
