When do I call the pedi back?? re: Carly

I took Carly in 2 weeks ago because she was sounding nasaly. Well within the last week she has been hacking. She doesn't sound any better. (I know her lungs are clear, a nurse that comes to my parents house for my niece listened to her and said so). Should I call and get her into the pedi again or just let her keep fighting it???

I would call the nurse line at your pedi's office and ask them what they think.  I hope she gets better soon!

yes.

 And that is the other thing.....2 weeks ago she weighed 12lbs with no clothes and a clean diaper on....a couple days ago she weighed 11lbs 15 oz but had on her clothes and a wet diaper...so she even lost a little weight.

im going to guarantee she needs soy formula.

i took sawyer in 3x at least. she wheezed, she sounded like she hacked up stuff (but her lungs were perfectly clear), and she was just allergic to milk. just *try* and switch.

to add: i took her in so many times bc i said "she IS SICK! no child should sound like this...." and i mean this was at 5-6 months (winter) and i was so so annoyed.

ahhhhh ok!

When we went in 2 weeks ago the Pedi (not my normal one) asked about her poop. I said it was runny. And we had just talked about how she was just a cranky baby. He told me to try soy formula. I did it for a week and didn't notice a huge change in her poop or crankiness so now I am trying the gentlease, but maybe I should go back to the soy.......man this girl is getting expensive! lol

yeah it took at LEAST a week for there to be a difference. but then it was like a new baby

We do the parent choice. I will probably try to stick with the pc since its half the price but in a couple weeks if it dont seem to be working, i will then go to the similac. Again thanks for the tip...much cheaper then my pedi!
