s/o Elise's Coworker post

For real, am I the only one that wouldn't report that her coworker was taking a collection for a hit man to kill her boss?

Maybe its because I said I'd jam a pen in boss' neck? lol

Seriously though, I don't think its report worthy. That's f*cked up.

  • Depending on the boss in question, I might give her a dollar for the cause.

    I'm with you.

  • I am pretty sure that would be a joke in any office I have worked in.  I would not report it.  If she wanted to meet on a dark and stormy night and discuss specifics, then sure.

    Totally just laughed out loud.

  • I would tell at least another coworker and then we could decide if it was something to report.  I think many murders could have been stopped if the right people knew when others were ticked off.  That woman is stupid if she put it on facebook.  Obviously she never watches the news.  People have been fired for what they put on facebook.
  • I think this is something that is entirely dependent upon the person, what you know of them and your relationship with them.

If it's someone you know well, and you joke with them about stuff all the time, then no, not reportable.  If it's someone you don't know well, who seems really serious and rageful, YES, report.

this is what I meant. if you get a bad vibe, there's a plan, co-worker is obsessing that her boss is actually Hitler -- then REPORT it. Hello? Yale woman stuffed in a wall? we have to pay attention to people dropping psycho hints...

  • I reported her not just for that comment. If it was just one comment, I wouldn't have said anything. Co-worker has a history of making inappropriate, violent comments and of throwing things and screaming when she is upset. I attributed some of today's issues with the fact that one of our co-workers died last week and crazy co-worker was good friends with her.

But regardless, I think crazy co-worker needs some help.

  • ok, of thats the case then yes, I agree.

I just meant if its a situation like they are kidding and blowing off steam. That's how I took it.
