Seasonal Name?

Middle name - Noelle[Poll]

Re: Seasonal Name?

  • Nicolas was a top contender for me, but because I am due 4 days after Christmas I could not bring myself to do it.

When we found out we were due at Christmas I had a lot of people suggesting I should use Noelle or Joy for at least a middle name if it were a girl.

A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

  • I love Norah Noelle.  DH says only if it's a Christmas-time baby (we are not PG).  I think it's okay for a middle name.  How often do ppl share their middle names anyway?

  • Noelle is a fantastic name regardless of when you are born! My cousin is named Holly and she's born in June.

This.  I think Noelle, Holly, April, etc. are all fine regardless of when you are born.

  • I probably wouldn't use it as a first name unless the DD was born during the Christmas season, but I think as a middle it is fine.

  • DD was born at the end of July and Noelle is her middle name. I have never heard any comments about her name and not being born near Christmas.
