What do I do in this situation?

I have tickets to the Yankee game tonight.  Really, really great tickets.

DD woke up with a cold.  No fever but she is stuffy and coughing a litlle bit.  I don't know if I should go or send my dad with dh and my brothers in case she gets worse.  I NEVER go anywhere that involves leaving her for more than a couple of hours.  i was really looking forward to this game, and now I think I am going to have a crappy time if I do go.

    Only you can decide what you will do.  BUT, if it were me, I'd go and have someone else keep DD.  Chances are, she is not going to get worse to the point that she would not be ok with someone else just for tonight.  We just had a cold go through our house and that's all it was - a cold, no fever, etc.  I would go and enjoy myself!

    Its a cold. She will be fine as long as you leave her with someone capable of wiping a runny nose.

    HA! She'll with my parents who are more than capable.  The problem is she can be a real PITA if she doesn't feel good.  I'm more worried about them not wanting to watch her again!

    Seriously you need to go to the damn game! LOL... she just has a cold and she will be fine for your parents. And even if she's a PITA they will watch her again; she's their GRANDDAUGHTER...it's not like they are babysitting some random child from their neighborhood.
