Official Due Date

Ladies, what is the official due date/week for twins for short term disability purposes?  Is it 37 or 38 weeks? 

My job allows paid leave 2 weeks prior to the "due date" and I can't seem to figure out when that would be.  I'll ask my doctor the next time I see him, but I just wanted to see if anyone on this board knows the answer.  I realize that twins often come earlier than expected, but I need the info to give to my employer in a few weeks.

I am also new to this, but here is what my doctor told me -my official due date is March 5, but he is going with Feb 18 as our 'goal' date when the babies would be fine to deliver if an induction is needed.

So when people ask I always say the Feb date since it is more likely.

If you are a scheduled c-section it is likely 38 wks... otherwise 40.  Talk with your doctor to figure out yours.
