WAAAAAAAAAH

I just dropped DD off for her first day of preschool. I didn't cry when I left her because she was already acting nervous and obviously that would not have gone well if she had seen me crying! I got a little chocked up in the car but I just had to remind myself that she's only going 2 mornings a week and we've got three more years until Kindergarten. It just seems like it wasn't that long ago that we brought her home from the hospital and now she's wearing a backpack and going off to school by herself!

  • I think I know how you feel- I completely lost it when I first dropped off DS at daycare--and he's only 4 months!  I try to tell myself that it will be so good for him- he'll get to make friends and when he's older he'll get to do all sorts of fun things (like fingerpainting, arts n' craft-y things). But that doesn't make it any easier on us moms, does it?

::big hug:: and a tissue too. We're here for you.

  • I totally understand, that was me last week with DD #1.  Preschool is a tough one, because it's SCHOOL, as opposed to dropping her at somebody's house for the day (we had in-home daycare for her and currently for #2).
