figured out what's going on with my supply

AF was on her way & definitely caused a dip in my supply.  She arrived this morning & I also got my usual 4 oz this morning, so hopefully her effect is gone for now.  however, i am still going to take the fenugreek & mother's milk tea i bought yesterday because the little munchkin is starting to eat more so I need to generate more milk anyways.

Interesting!  I never knew AF could cause supply issues.  I'm right in the middle of mine, so maybe that's why I've had some crappy pumping sessions recently.  Thanks for the info!

I'm having the same exact thing.  I couldn't figure out what was going on with my supply.  I got up during the night to pump and went to the bathroom and voila!  Now the tiredness, headache, and dip in supply made sense then! I am hoping my supply comes back.  My neos won't allow me to take the fenugreek or anything else for my supply.

I didn't even think to warn you of that. I pumped for 14+ months and had probably 6 periods in that time and every time, the estrogen would get me. Stupid AF!

Glad you figured out your supply issues. I just realized how close our "stats" are, but 1 year apart.  My DS was born May 19, 2008, was born at 27w5d, and was 2 lbs, 13.5 inches.  He came home after 87 days in the NICU.  Anyway, continued good luck with the pumping!
