how has it worked for you? I hate taking the pill everyday so my doc suggested the ring...any input?

i love it!

you just squeeze it in the middle and stick in it. dh said he felt it once but that was before dd and he hasn't felt it since.

IMO it's the best out there. I hated pills also, I used it for 3 years. Now I can't use it while BFing! totally sucks!) Also it was great when I was ready to get pregnant because you just needed 30 days clear and bingo you got a baby! LOL

thanks! I actually had bought one before my BFP but never got to use it because of it, I think I'll give it a try now! do I have to have my period back in order to use it for the 1st time? I'm still waiting for it and I'm not BF!

You should check with your OB before you use it.

yes you have to wait for your period to start.

have you been refrigerating it that whole time? and there might be an expiration date on it but i'm not sure.

yes I know, I went to the doc today and she suggested it but she told me to take a couple of blood test before I start using it and I forgot to ask about the period thing, I'll ask her when I go back next week w/ the results

I'm BFing and my doctor said it was fine for me to use.  I didn't have to wait for my period either, I just started it the next Sunday.  I haven't noticed a decrease in my supply either.

I love the nuvaring, I was never good about taking a pill everyday.

You have to regrigerate it, what?!!!! I got 3 samples from my OB, and one is in (well, now out), but the other two are in my bathroom!!!

I was on the pill for years, then after DD, I decided to try the pill b/c I'm too tired and busy to remember to take a pill everyday! It is very comfortable...you don't feel it at all. We've had sex numerous times and DH never feels it and it has never fallen out with sex. My only concern is that I put it in the Sunday of my first PPP (6 weeks PP)...the bleeding stopped a few days later, then started again 2 weeks later (8 weeks PP). I've been bleeding this whole past week, and then I took out the ring Sunday as directed (it had been in for 3 weeks). So I don't know if I'm gonna get another period this week or what? I don't know if I need to get used to the ring, or this is normal for PP?? I'm gonna give it a few months...I have a 4 month PP check up at the OB, so I'll at least give it a try until then. Also, my OB said I could put 1 in for 3 weeks, take it out and put in another one right away....I can do this 3-4 times in a row to not get a period for several months. I used to do that with teh pill (skip the sugar pills for several packs).
