Yep! Just plain old flour tortillas. Sometimes I put thin slices of avacado in them. To make them somewhat "healthy" Then again, I'm a guilty Mac&cheeese mom, oh and sometimes hot dogs.
I bought wheat ones and put them in the quesadilla maker...but they turn out crispy instead of soft and DD doesn't dig them. I need tips lol.
Yes, I noticed this too. I only used whole wheat tortillas if I'm making "quickie" quesadillas in the microwave - they don't get crispy in there. Otherwise we just use basic flour ones.

I use corn tortillas because they have more fiber, but it has nothing to do with Joseph. It's because they have more fiber and are lower glycemic than white flour tortillas, and my husband's diabetic. And I very rarely find whole wheat flour tortillas.

What's a quesadilla maker? I just grill a folded quesadilla in a frying pan for 1-2 minutes on each side.
Basically like a sandwich maker, but shaped for quesadillas. DH had it before we met.
does it make them crispyish?
