Even though we're pretty close and she's great, I'm super nervous. I shall try to avoid puking on her desk.

Go ahead and puke on her desk. It will add confirmation to your story. Just make sure your stomach gets the timing right.

Good luck!  I was terrified to tell mine, but he actually seemed genuinely excited about it.  Hopefully yours will be, too.

I think that she'll really appreciate me telling her this soon. They need LOTS of time to find an intern that can work with me then take over when I go out.

You'd be amazed how many people a room full of 19 year old junkies will run off.

Wow. I was in and out in 10 minutes. She's excited. Even gave me a big hug. Very grateful for being "in the know".

My heart is beating 90 to nothing. Whew. Okay. That's over.
