Things to do in or around Ridgefield.

Hello.

I live in NY and we are going to visit CT next weekend. I've never been there and I've heard only great things It'll just be sat to sun. Can you give me suggestions on where to stay and what to do. We'll have my 18m with us so I guess it'll have to be family friendly things. I will need to stay in or around Ridgfield. I am not familiar with CT at all. All I know is it's about 1 1/2 hours from my house.

I'm not too familiar with Ridgefield - but Danbury which is nearby has a few nice hotels.  I've stayed at the Mariott before.  You can go apple picking at blue jay orchards.  If there's a rainy day the Danbury mall has a little kid play area.  Hope that helps.

I work in Ridgefield, it really al depends if the town has anything planned.  They dont have a big hotel or anything, for a hotel i would stay in danbury.  They are doing a fall in love with ridgefield at 10am this saturday i think its all about the leaves changing.  Hope this helps
