Baby N conceived after 1 miscarriage and more than 2 years of TTC. Diagnosis was low sperm count. We found success after 3 months of anastrozole to increase DH's testosterone and one IUI.

We've been trying since May 2008. I had an ectopic pregnancy after 10 months of trying (used CBEFM and charted) in March. It was pretty traumatic. In June, I had an HSG to make sure I had clear tubes. Got my second BFP Labor Day weekend. Now I'm hoping and praying this one sticks.
One thing I've learned: TTC is different for everyone, and just b/c you do everything right doesn't mean you will get pregnant and have a baby.
Re: how long did it take?
BFP #2 - 11/4/09

I'm stupid. You're smart. I was wrong. You were right. You're the best. I'm the worst. You're very good-looking. I'm not attractive. - Happy Gilmore
27 months after going off BCP, that includes 17 months of Metformin, an ectopic pg, and one round of Femara + trigger.
ETA: I charted most of those 27 months (I did take a break around the ectopic because my cycles were screwed up and we took a mandatory break).
Dx with endo & blocked left tube - TTC #1 for 29 cycles before miracle BFP, #2 - Surprise!!
