Best monitor for twins?

Hi.  I'm looking for a monitor for twins and am not sure what to get.  Does anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks!

Re: Best monitor for twins?

  • We have the Sony BabyCall Monitor and it works great.

We also have the BabySense Movement Monitors in their cribs.

  • We use Angelcare monitors - you need 2... they sense breathing/movement and sound an alarm if there is no movement in 15 seconds - it is GREAT because you can sleep and not have to see if babies are breathing 1000x's a night :)

they have to sleep in separate beds, though... which is fine for us- but some like to have their babies sleep together, or cosleep with parents- which you can't do with these monitors.

  • Loading the player...
  • We have the Summer Infant video monitor with a camera on each crib.  The NICU told us not to co-sleep them.  We love the monitor. You have to order the extra camera online.

  • My girls aren't here yet but....I also have the Summer Infant Best Handheld View Camera monitor and extra video. I liked what the reviews said and what the features offered (zoom in and out, audio and visual monitoring, etc.). The friends who I do know who have it, love it. HTH

DH researched cameras and this is the one he liked best  .... we have no problems with it

other cameras (some Summer Infant ones too) can see other ppls kids and vice versa .... but I haven't had this issue with ours .... our neighbors can see each others kids but not ours
