with or eithout the simply thick mine pooped 6-8 times a day!!! Actually I think she pooped less when  we started her on it, more like 6 times, then...

isn't it crazy how all of this preemie stuff affects their tiny tummies?! before, we had to give ryan prunes a couple of times a day, give him pear juice, and put karo in his bottle. he would poop once every 3-4 days. when he did it was the weirdest looking stuff i ever saw.

now, we stopped the neosure and the poly-vi-sol, and he poops a couple of times a day, it looks like poop, and we stopped all the prunes and karo (he still gets the juice, but mostly to practice with a sippy).

It's a thickening product used to thicken breastmilk - no taste, no calories - we use it b/c our son's reflux has gotten really bad (when teething) and he keeps choking when he eats.  As he gets tired he now has a delayed swallow and deep penetration (not aspirating but milk is moving toward is airway) and he does better with the thick fluid!
