I did it!!

I ran a 10K today :):):):):)

I am so extremely proud of myself, I did the run to make sure I was ready for my 5K run in a few weeks (they are both to fund cancer research) and I just wanted to be able to do 5K today and I was feeling pretty good so...I took a break and walked for about 6 minutes about 3/4 of the way through but I did it!!! I felt so fan-freaking-tastic after it was done.

YAY!! Good luck! Where are you doing yours? (you don't have to tell me if you don't want to) Mine will be in Sudbury, I live in a smaller town that doesn't have it and both my sisters live there so I will do it there with them.

Well good for you! This is my first year doing it, I went last year to take pictures for my sister and I was so moved by the whole thing that I knew I would be doing it after that.

I've done it 6 years now.  It really is an amazing and touching day.  It sucks to see how many people are there that have been affected by breast cancer.
