We have a professional photographer who comes to our house. She did 2 weeks, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months and 1 year.

I heard that within the first two weeks is best because that's when they curl up in that cute newborn fetal position.  However, the ones where they can pick their heads up with their big wide open eyes are super cute, too, and those would come a little later.

We did professional pics @ 1 week old. We will do them again at 6 mos. and 1 yr.

I did mine yesterday (around 2.5 weeks). They worked well, but I wish I would have done them a little sooner, only b/c she has some mild acne on her face now that she didn't have at first. But, I'm sure the photographer will photoshop it out.

We did ours when she was 10 days old. Some of the pics are in my siggy.

Ds was 7 days old and DD was 12 days old.  I think the timing was perfect for us.
